'TRACKER ∆'
by Seecum Cheung
WEDNESDAY, 27th MARCH
Doors open 6 - 9pm
Seecum Cheung’s work explores the link between commerce, surveillance and seduction. Focusing on the idea of the digitized image as a valuable resource for companies and governments in consumer analysis, her work explores data as a form of contemporary currency. Drawing parallels between the origins of surveillance, Seecum correlates a unification between the concepts of marketing consumer analysis, including our own personal output as individuals through social networking, facilitating a market of surveillance and voyeurism through data capture.

In line with the exhibition Tracker ∆ the artist is giving away a piece of work for free. Vote for your favourite print by leaving your details in the allocated boxes within the gallery. The print with the most votes will be raffled off at the end of the exhibition, winner will be announced in June.
